Interesting fact. The photographer of this photo was a high school student. He committed suicide after exams.
I can’t stop reblogging this..
Suddenly art is beautiful and appreciated when the artist kills themselves. Our society needs some sort of sick validation that an artist feels “real” emotions, and nothing brings that validation more than suicide. Would Sylvia Plath be half as well known as she is now if she had gotten her head out of that oven?
no, and that’s because our society romanticizes depression to a scary degree
it’s not beautiful and poetic to have a horrible, immobilizing problem
Just the way they talk about this new, weird show out called Doctor Who. It just seems so surreal.
Also you just think, no one then knew how big and important this show would be to millions of people. They just thought it was another T.V. show out. They didn’t know that it would end up being the longest running, and most popular, sci-fi T.V. series ever. It’s just kind of awesome to read stuff like this and think about it.
If a thief forces you to take money from an ATM, do not argue or resist. What you should do is punch your pin in reverse. EX: if your pin is 1234 you punch 4321. The moment you punch in the reverse, the money will come out but will be stuck in the machine and the machine will immediately alert the police without the theif’s knowledge. Every ATM has this feature.
Reblog this so everyone knows, this happens all the time especially in the city
